Dean Koontz is going to be appearing in Second Life in avatar form, reading from his new book and answering questions and all! I'm so tempted to install the game, as I've always wanted to check it out, except 1) I don't know if I can clear enough room on my hard drive by then, and 2) I'd hate to get caught up in Second Life when hubby is still so into WoW and I was just about to start playing that again. Still, definitely tempting! In any case, though, there's going to be a live audio feed on that page I linked, so you can check it out whether you play the game or not. I just think it would be so cool to have an audience with one of my favorite authors in avatar form!

Wow, that's pretty cool, i'm glad they'll have live audio as i wouldn't install SE for it, but i might stop over there for the audio.

Yeah, I've just had to clear a crapload of room to reinstall WoW, so it's not looking like I'll be participating in game, either. Still, besides the audio, no doubt there'll be screenshots as well...

Sadly, I've got the Euro version, or else I'd have been playing with all the FX folks a long time ago. I wish I had known that there would be seperate servers, but I was spoiled by SWG having both Euro and US servers, and people from either region being able to go on either. If I'd known, I would have made a point of buying the US version.
