I was able to lift this stickied post from our old site, written by Carridon.

Okay, now that I've finally figured out how to sticky a post, I thought I'd put a message here that allowed new folks visiting for the first time a chance to get an idea of where FX comes from and what we're about.
Fatal Xception(s) was born in beta. Around April or so, beta 3 started and a bunch of us sort of found each other at the Tyrena cantina. Most of us were entertainer types, but there were several who just came to the cantina to have fun and see what sort of mischief we were up to that day. When you spend hours upon hours a day with the same people in the same place (even in a pixelated setting) bonds are going to be formed. I suppose at this point I could say, "Let me tell you a story about a man named Jed..." but since a lot of you (especially anyone new to this site) wouldn't even know who Jed was, I'll skip that and just point out that Jed was responsible for binding us together with our beta PA tags.
Word got out that the end of beta was coming and many of us decided that we didn't want to face the cold, hard galaxy without the companionship of the friends and family we had found in the two months that we were in beta. Email addresses were exhanged. We all decided on a server, a planet and a town. Since we all played on Bria in beta and lived in Tyrena on Corellia, we decided to not mess with perfection. Also, this site was born to keep us all together. There was one last blowout party in our beta PA Hall where there were many, many laughs, some sad goodbyes to people who weren't going to be getting the game, and see you soons to people we would be seeing in a couple of days. And thus it was that beta drew to a close.
The game was released on June 26th and we all rushed out anxious to again spend time with the pixelated family that we had to live without for an entire day or two! Most of us returned with just a few loses of people to other servers. Some of us came back in an entirely different profession than the one used in beta.
Even before the PA Hall was constructed (yay Kaori!) we were a PA in heart even without the tags.
SO WHERE ARE WE NOW?
We are a free spirit PA, free of the bonds of politics and rigorous structure that most PAs are made of. We play to have fun and enjoy ourselves and our time together. Since the game has released, there have been many additions to our little beta family that was the beginning of our PA. We've tried our hardest to surround ourselves with the best people in all of SWG, and I think we've done a pretty good job of it.
So what about rules, you say? The rules are fairly simple: Have a good time and be pleasant to those around you without violating Sony's TOS. We will not tolerate "grief" play.
Fatal Xception(s) is an entertainer based PA but is not entertainer exclusive.
Those of you new to the site, enjoy the message boards and have fun with interacting with some of the best folks that Star Wars Galaxies has to offer!
