Wow...I'm reading a CBS news article on SWG right now...one thing they are doing in the article, other than bashing john smedley like the blow up doll he is...is releasing numbers they got on enrollment. Apparently, there were 250,000 players in august 2005. Current enrollment sits at around 10,000 players. These aren't subscription numbers, which could include 100,000 or more station pass subscribers at any time, but actual players on servers.

Serves them right for screwing over their fanbase.

well the guild i was in on chimaera went fomr aournd 500 active meber on 15 servers to less than 10 of us still playing between the cu and th enge, nad over 90% of those went with the nge
and yes i am still aournd in swg, jsut not on bria much anymore i was a shipwright/smuggler and altouhgh technically now jsut a smuggler i find it hard to think of my character as anything but her hybrid self so theres just no fun in playing her anymore as i cna no longer be her jsut half of her

Asphyxia is most pleased to see you Erressa! :-)
I spend most of my time in EQ2 and Second Life these days and have dipped into DDO, but have much to do in the other games I mentioned so show up very infrequently in DDO. Still have my life on Bria, but I'm so not in control of the UI still and don't visit back so much. I will have to remap my keys, but that sounds like such a daunting task that I'll have to find a decent template somewhere on how to set it like the old way (as close as can be that is).
I still have all my toons on the other servers, I just don't play those because I don't know anyone on the other servers at all anymore. So, stick with Bria when I do pop on.

On the plus side, they have now fixed the modeless chat that was broken in Publish 27. And (by popular demand) they have graciously allowed us to rotate our characters in place again.

Well, if it takes 20 minutes it'll probably take me an hour. I'm almost wanting to buy the new Prima Guide to get the basic information to re-learn the game, (that is if they don't f*&^%$$g change it again after I buy the guide) and get a better feel of what to do and how to do it.
