Just thought I'd share some of the screenies I've managed to capture so far. Here are some scenic ones that I took. Please note that these screens are taken from high settings. It looks even better on ultra high settings. This was taken on the bridge that connects Ered Luin (elf and dwarf starting lands) to the Shire. Taken near the elf starting cities. Please excuse that awful hat on me! This was before I found out we could turn off helm graphics. Scenic shot of the Shire. I think they did an awesome job with the water. Danea took Aidin and I to Rivendell last night. It was quite the dangerous run for a couple of lowbies! But here's the reward. The building you see in the distance is the house of Elrond. We got to meet him, Gandalf, Sam, and Frodo there! Another scenic shot of Rivendell. Here's Billie and I in the Shire! Isn't Holiday cuuuute?? This is just a demonstration of some of the funny facial expressions when you set it on certain moods. Here we are, hanging out inside Tom Bombadil's house in the Old Forest. Aidin was an uncouth house guest! Look what he's doing to the soup! Selbereth and Amuse enjoying the views of Rivendell. I think Sel is afraid of heights... He later fell off the mountain side and injured himself. I need to get a shot of all of us together! Simmus on his dwarf plays a mean horn.

Simmus on his dwarf plays a mean horn? That's the mention I get? Plus, it sounds kinda rude =P I'm supposed to be tough and stuff, but so far they have had me lug buckets of water, deliver mail (and play my own horn - once I was told how). My favorite time so far (but I was too busy being mauled for the good of the team to take screenies) was beating up some very very nasty trees! Oh, and my favorite - WOW! moment was noticing the Pleiades and the constellation of Orion in the night sky. So sue me, I'm an astro nerd!

[It shows up in Southern AND Northern Hemispheres skies, according to season, I'm supposing?] PS I'm a tiny Hobbit, so it is hard for me to see the sky.

Yeah, they're both pretty much on the ecliptic so visible from both hemispheres. The Big Dipper I can only see online though =)

Ok, here are some more of my random screenies from closed beta! Here's my monster, a level 50 spider queen named Mamacita with her bizatches. Danea, Selbereth, and Amuse... at the Bree Mustering Post, aka jail (although it sounds more like a brothel inside) impressing the NPCs with our synchronized acrobatics. We were really good at just ... floating around. I can even pretend I was riding a horse. Ok, here's a real horseback ride. Hope to see more of you in open beta!
