I had so much fun tonight with the end of beta events and the guild fun afterwards.
I'll post a couple of the pictures I really liked to this thread once I figure out how to do it.

Last night was great fun! Here are some of my screenies. The drakes in Rivendell. Danea and Amuse as level 50! We did a lot of leveling ;D Dev monsters attack Rivendell! And the Shire! So we all found a safe place to sit (except Selbereth kept falling down!) as the wargs ravaged the inhabitants of the Shire. We figured if we played dead, the wargs would leave. And finally, Amuse, Danea and Selbereth in their final moments. I didn't get any really good shots when we were inside in Rivendell. But I am sure those will be coming

I just have to say real briefly how impressed I am that the screenshots from LOTRO save themselves as JPegs in a file in the My Documents clearly labelled Lord of the Rings Online. Even my mom could change a screenshot to a background on the computer with about four or five clicks using the 'BROWSE' function in the control panel options. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but I remember digging through the Everquest program way back in the day and finding the jPegs, then dragging them free to a different file in My Documents, and those always managed to get mis-dragged somehow, and wind up in the wrong files. And with WoW, I think I had to sacrifice a black kitten in the full monnlight to get those files to convert to something viewable by the masses (or maybe I used Paintshop--I get those mixed up; either way, it was a chore and I ended up with scratches all over me). Thanks, Hobbits! You little guys really are tidy! [Having said all that, I'll leave it to someone with higher rez pics than mine to post the festivities. I'm shy.] Was fun!

OH, and beautiful pics, too, Dani! I think they posted whilst I was engaged in my rambling compliment.

I've got some excellent shots to post once I get home tonight! It really was great fun. Haven't had this much fun with a beta since SWG. As always, we FXers really know how to end beta with a big bang!

Oh Billie, When I was uploading my screenies, I found this buried in my files. I thought you might like it. (I didn't make it, someone sent it to me) ;D

If you don't have your own web space, you can find a free photo hosting site to upload your screenshots. I believe Danea uses photobucket. Once you've uploaded it to there, copy the image link from the address window and paste it here on the body of the post with image tags before and after it.
So it would look something like..

Gotta love the lotro ladies. And something about little hobbits and skirts? Now that's a big minstrel, period! Thanks for the advice Bloo. Took some wrangling, but I got it to work.

I kept getting linkdeaded out. It got to the point that I couldn't even get past character selection.

Oh Billie, When I was uploading my screenies, I found this buried in my files. I thought you might like it. ;D Whoa! Rangers with guitars!? Not a bad idea, though. Next they can introduce a Guitar Hero II style lute for us to control our songs with! Subsriptions will go through the roof! [And then maybe they can come out with a DDR-style dance pad, to make your Hobbit dance on the table with?]

Okay, I'm learning how to link pictures. This is my floaty bodies picture: All of us hanging out with our good friends Gandolf and Elrond: This is me throwing Gandolf a kiss from 6 inches away: Elrond, look at me, look at me, Elrond! Just us girls, (left to right) Morianne (me), Danea, Amuse (Bloo), Holiday (Billie). Billie was having trouble getting lined up: It was a fun beta, guys! No one knows how to party like us FX folks. Here's my end of the world story, through the eyes of Amuse. The day started bright and hopeful. There have been word of trouble all around Middle Earth. All of us prepare by finding the best equipment in Rivendell we could equip and making sure our skills were polished. When the mobs started attacking, we decided it was time to stick together as a fellowship to fend off anything that came our way. 1million morale dev giant? Bring it on! When waves of dragon after dragon kept coming, we soon realized our battle was futile. While the battle raged on, our peace-loving group decided to go to our beloved Shire and move to higher ground, hoping no monsters would find us. It seemed as though the day was perfectly normal. We tried to avoid the cries of dying hobbits at the Party Tree. The upcoming sunset overlooking our farmlands was beautiful after all! Our peace would not last. The dev monsters found our hiding spot and tried to get to us. Brave heroes tried to slow them down, giving Selbereth enough opportunity to port us away from the baddies. We decided the safest place to be would be to be by the side of powerful people, so we went to the library of the Last Homely House to stick by Gandalf and Elrond's side. Isn't Holiday cuuuute? /squeal I guess Turlough decided he had nothing to lose anymore and made the move on the ladies. Gandalf and Elrond made us leave because we were too distracting to their important research and conversation. There was nothing we could do but head for the hills (Misty Mountains). The hills were unfriendly and bitter cold. We advised a squirrel to take cover. Alas, we found a sturdy fort with a sturdy Gimli and Gloin. Warming ourselves by the fire, I looked inside my pack to check our provisions. Seeing I had an entire pack full of home grown pipe-weed, there was nothing left to do but smoke it ALL! Warm and relaxed after all the pipe-weed smoking, we laid down to rest ... ... and the world was no more.
